Warren MacIntosh, Amber Rich Maple Syrup
Warren MacIntosh, Amber Rich Maple Syrup
Caramel-forward, with medium-rich notes of toffee and apple pie. Golden marshmallow and ever-so-subtle salted caramel.
Great for pancakes or porridge when a gentle maple flavour enhances the experience.
Method: Wood-fired; slow-boiled
Grade: Amber, Rich Taste
Origin: Apple Hill, Ontario, Canada
Vintage: 2025
What does slow-boiled mean?
Slow-boiled maple syrup is made by gently simmering maple sap for hours, allowing flavors to deepen naturally, in contrast to modern methods like reverse osmosis that pre-concentrate the sap and shorten the process.
Storage Advice: Maple syrup can be stored for many months or years in the right conditions (ideally a cool, dark spot). Each bottle is labeled with a recommended 'best by' date for your confidence. Once opened, we recommend storing in the refrigerator and consuming within 4 months.
